ABOUT OUR CLASSES
Class sizes are small and pupils are
taught using the most up-to-date literacy programmes. A bespoke curriculum, tailored to dyslexic learners, allows learners to flourish and sets them up for success.
Access to the highest quality sports education and on site media suite, cooking facilities, outdoor and common room areas provide the backdrop for modern thinking in learning support.
OUR ETHOS & TEACHING
LIFE Prep school’s ethos is to bring the best out of its learners, to tap into potential, to provide strategies to develop their skills as dyslexic learners, to build self-esteem and ultimately help them to enter their secondary phase of education with positive attitudes to learning, a wealth of new skills and an ability to take risks without fear of failure.
All our teachers will hold a specialist qualification to teach children with a Specific Learning Disability (SpLD). Our teachers will use research-based multi-sensory programmes and resources, designed to encourage attainment, self-confidence and feelings of success.
Our teachers will embed dyslexia friendly practices into all of their teaching and learning to ensure that every child reaches their potential. Mental and physical wellbeing will be a priority.
